- The warranty is valid only when the warranty card is properly completed and accompanied by the original invoice or sales receipt that indicates the date of purchase, distributor's name, model, and serial number of the product. Home Plus reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this information has been removed or altered after the original purchase of the product from the distributor.
- Home Plus's obligations are limited to repairing defects or replacing the defective part or, at its discretion, replacing the product itself.
- Repairs must be carried out by a Home Plus authorized service center. Warranty coverage is voided if repairs are attempted by any unauthorized service center. Home Plus shall not be liable for any compensation, claims, or damages resulting from unauthorized repairs.
- Repair or replacement under the terms of this warranty does not give the right to any extension or renewal of the warranty period. Repair or direct replacement of the product under this warranty may be fulfilled with equivalent service replacement units.
- The warranty does not apply to cases other than defects in material, design, and workmanship. The warranty does not cover the following:
- Periodic checks, maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
- Misuse or abuse, including but not limited to the failure to use the product for its normal purposes or in accordance with Home Plus's instructions on usage and maintenance.
- Defects resulting from the use of the product with accessories not approved by Home Plus for use with this product.
- Product malfunction due to improper installation or use not in accordance with the instructions and technical or safety standards specified in the product user manual.
- Accidents, acts of nature, lightning, water, fire, public disturbances, inadequate ventilation, voltage fluctuations, or any cause beyond the control of Home Plus.
- Unauthorized modifications carried out to the product to comply with local or international technical standards in countries for which the Samsung product was not originally designed.
- Alteration, removal, or rendering illegible of the product's serial number.
- This warranty does not affect the statutory rights of customers or their rights against the distributor concerning their purchase/sale agreement.
- This warranty is non-transferable. This warranty is exclusive to the original purchasers only, and Home Plus or its authorized service centers listed in this warranty document shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or breach of any express or implied warranty on this product.
Warranty Guidelines
- This warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the product only.
- Repairs and replacements are carried out by Home Plus service centers (refer to the list) or authorized service centers or distributor service centers.
- For repairs/replacements of any part/parts of the unit, this warranty shall continue and remain in force for the unexpired period of the warranty. Additionally, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit, whether under the warranty or otherwise, shall be excluded from the warranty period.
- The company or its authorized service center/distributor service center reserves the right to retain any part/parts or component/components replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed during the warranty period.
- The warranty shall continue for the unexpired period after the product has been inspected by the concerned service center and found free from transit damage.
- The customer shall bear the cost of inspection visits, as applicable.
- The warranty does not cover demonstration/installation of the purchased product.
- The warranty does not cover accessories external to the product.
- The company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement for part/parts that prove defective.
- Repairs during the warranty period shall be carried out on a "carry-in" basis. The purchaser must bring the product to the service center where the device is registered to avail of warranty service. The warranty does not cover the cost of transporting the device from the installation site to the service center.
- The concerned service center shall advise the customer on whether the product should be repaired on-site or at the service center.
Exclusions to the Warranty
- Failure to fill out the warranty card and return it to the service center for registration by the purchaser.
- Failure to present the completed warranty card to the authorized team at the time of repair.
- Failure to purchase the product from an authorized Samsung distributor.
- Failure to use the product according to the instructions provided in the user manual.
- Defects arising from misuse, as determined by the company's personnel.
- Alteration or modification of any nature in the electrical circuit/physical construction of the device.
- Repairs carried out by persons/agencies not authorized by the company.
- Site conditions (buildings where the product is kept) that do not conform to the recommended operating conditions of the machine.
- Removal, obliteration, or alteration of the original serial number from the machine or cabinet.
- Defects due to causes beyond control, such as lightning, abnormal voltage, or acts of nature occurring during transit.
These are the service warranty policies, and the customer shall be responsible for any costs related to non-warranty cases. Home Plus reserves the right to make final decisions regarding problem determination and appropriate service options. Replacement units shall inherit the remaining warranty of the original product.
